Madonna, 62, And Daughter Lourdes, 24, Could Pass Off As Sisters In Stunning Photo

The Queen of Pop posted the picture on Instagram, along with a sweet message.

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes (who she shares with former flame Carlos Leon) recently posed for a sweet photograph showing them taking a selfie on the 24-year-old's phone. Madonna looked more like her friend or sister rather than her mom! The 62-year-old is also mom to Rocco, 20, with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and adopted children David Banda, 15, Mercy James, 15, and twins Stella and Esther, 8. The Queen of Pop posted the picture with Lourdes on Instagram with a sweet caption: Like Pieces of your Heart Walking around outside of you...........♥️

The mom-of-six has four adopted children from Malawi, reports the Daily Mail. The first child she added to her brood was her son David Banda, 15. Then came Mercy, aged 14, and a pair of twins Stella and Estere, eight in the following years.  Madonna's other biological child, Rocco, 20 is who she shares with her second husband, Guy Ritchie.  Ritchie and Madonna got married in 2000 and split in 2008. Of their relationship, she told Newsweek. "When you start off, everything's great and lovely, and the person you've married is flawless, and you're flawless. Then time goes by, and you share a life, you have children, and there are cracks in the veneer." In another interview, she confessed that he said that at times she "felt incarcerated" by Ritchie. "If you're an artist you've got to find someone who accepts who you are and are comfortable with that," she said.

Last year, Madonna shared personal moments of herself spending time with her six children during their family Thanksgiving celebration. In the footage shared on Instagram, the "Frozen" singer smiles as she poses with her kids. The family can be seen spending time together, playing guitar, and lounging while dressed up for the occasion. Madonna also sits on her boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams' lap at one point, as she watches her kids play.

Speaking of family, she told PEOPLE in 2017, "It's inexplicable," she said at the time of what drew her to her children. "It's like saying, 'Why do you fall in love with the people you fall in love with?' You look into the eyes of somebody, you feel their soul, you feel touched by them — that's it. Sometimes I would just close my eyes and just think, 'Why isn't my kitchen filled with dancing children?' There's so many children that need a home," she recalled at the time. "I thought, 'What am I waiting for? Just do it.'"

As for how her older kids adapt to having new members in the family? Madonna said, "There might have been [a feeling of], 'Oh, we have to share you with more people' — not jealousy, but an adjustment. Eventually everyone was supportive. Lola said, 'Mom, if that's what you want and it's going to make you happy, let's go.'" Since bringing Estere and Stella home in February 2017, she noted that, "It's like they were always here. It didn't take long for them to get acclimated." The adoption process she admitted was just as rigorous. She added, "Because I’m a public figure, people don’t want to be perceived as giving me any kind of special treatment, so I get the hard road. It’s complicated, but it’s so worth it."

As for her relationship with  Ahlamalik Williams, the two were spotted with his hands around her waist on her hotel balcony in Miami in December 2019 and have appeared many times over the years on her Instagram account. According to the Mirror, Williams' parents revealed details about the romance brewing between the two, two years ago. His father, Drue, who is 61 years old, shared, "Madonna went on and on about how much she cares about our son. She said he’s intelligent and very talented. She told us she is so much in love with him and that we didn’t have anything to worry about as she was going to take care of him. We know there’s a huge age gap between the two – 36years. Madonna is two years older than me. But I have told my son love doesn’t have an age range when you’re consenting adults. I asked him how he feels about her and he says he has never been happier." It looks like they're still going strong.
