The wait is over! Kim Kardashian West, 38, finally posted a tweet confirming the birth of her child. She wrote, "He's here and he's perfect." The reality star and rapper husband Kanye West welcomed their fourth son via surrogacy this Friday. The news that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's surrogate was in labor with their baby came right after Kourtney Kardashians's surprise visit on the sets of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She surprised her mother Kris Jenner on the show. In addition, she also brought her children Mason, Penelope, and Reign along with Kim's kids North, Saint, and Chicago, with her. The 40-year-old reality star said, "So, my mom doesn’t even know this, but Kim’s surrogate went into labor, so she’s at the hospital."
Visibly shocked, 63-year-old Kris exclaimed, "What! What are we doing here?!" Ellen DeGeneres then asked if anyone else knew about it, and Kourtney responded, "No!" The 61-year-old host further explained how Kim was supposed to be here to surprise mom Kris and her six grandchildren, but couldn't make it as her fourth baby was on the way.
Kourtney poking fun at the audience said, "And nobody knows, so everyone in the audience don’t tell." This interview wasn't aired until Friday but DeGeneres could not help but share a sneak peek of this episode through social media. She tweeted, "I surprised @KrisJenner with 6 of her grandchildren. Then I surprised her with one more. Sending love to you, @KimKardashian and @KanyeWest! @kourtneykardash."
Kim had confirmed the sex of the child during an episode of Watch What Happens Live which aired on January 14. Andy Cohen posed a question and asked if she was "working on another child." Kardashian West affirmed, "We are." She also confessed about her slip up at the Christmas party. "It’s a boy, I think it’s been out there," she said continuing, "I got drunk at our Christmas Eve Party and told some people. I can’t remember who I told because I never get drunk.”
A source at PEOPLE informed how excited the two were about adding the newest member to their family. They also confirmed, "Kim has always wanted four kids. She talks about it all the time. She likely won’t have any more after this." During the Vogue 73 Questions on April 11, Kim was asked if she was excited about the new baby's arrival to which Kim responded that her daughter North would be very happy because her son Saint would have someone else to play with apart from her. She further added that she was stressed about the whole thing as the baby’s room was still not completed yet.
When asked about baby names, she replied, "Saint wants to name him Sainty too." She added further that the new baby would "definitely not have another direction" for a name. TV host Jimmy Fallon seemed to have an awesome suggestion for her fourth's name. He replied to the tweet, "Congratulations!! Are you naming him Jimmy?" The announcement about her baby's arrival was followed by good wishes from several celebrities including John Legend who simply wrote a heartfelt "Congratulations!!!" in the comment section.

The reality star posted a few pictures of the baby shower on May 12 and told everyone how her baby was the "most calm and chill of all of" her babies. She explained how she freaked out about the whole thing for no reason at all. She also expressed how happy she was as her baby was loved by everyone.
We celebrated our baby boy about a week ago and now he’s here! He’s so perfect! Here are some pics of my CBD baby shower.
