Keanu Reeves Helped Siblings Stranded At The Airport And Paid For Their Baggage

Reeves just keeps getting nicer and nicer!

Keanu Reeves is perhaps just as famous for being a "nice guy" as he is for his movies. From being respectful of his fans, frequently posing for photos, and signing autographs for them to random gestures of kindness like giving up his seat on a crowded subway train and secretly donating huge sums of money to children's hospitals, he's made a huge impact on people. What's more, Reeves is incredibly humble and does kind things without making any fuss. "I have a private foundation that's been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children's hospitals and cancer research," Keanu said in a Ladies Home Journal article from 2009, according to Snopes. "I don't like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does."

Even his former co-stars have nothing but kind words to say about the 57-year-old actor. Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves starred in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 film Dracula, an adaptation of Bram Stoker’s vampire story. According to The Independent, during the filming of a scene involving Gary Oldman’s Dracula transforming into a pile of rats, the director did something out of the blue. He stood off-camera repeatedly shouting “You wh*re!” in order to get Ryder to cry in a realistic way. He also tried to get her male cast members to join in but Reeves being the gentleman that he has always been, refused. “To put it in context I’m supposed to be crying,” Ryder told The Sunday Times. “Literally, Richard E Grant, Anthony Hopkins, Keanu … Francis was trying to get all of them to yell things that would make me cry. But Keanu wouldn’t, Anthony wouldn’t … It just didn’t work. I was, like, really? It kind of did the opposite.”

The actor also does so much for his fans...Back in 2020, the actor auctioned off a 15-minute Zoom chat with a lucky winner for an initiative to raise funds for charity where the proceeds went to Camp Rainbow Gold, a children’s cancer organization aimed at providing emotionally empowering experiences to kids in Idaho diagnosed with cancer, reports PEOPLE. Many fans love how humble he is as well, as he is often spotted riding the subway.

More recently, @tanksgoodnews shared a post on Instagram featuring Reeves with two people. A person named Lucas Santos seemed to have shared a story of how Reeves helped him and his sibling unexpectedly. He wrote: So i was at the airport with my sister and we had excess baggage charges but we didn't have enough money to pay for it, luckily though Keanu Reeves was on the same board as us and ended up paying for everything.

What a gem of a person!
