Julia Roberts Posts Never Before Seen Throwback Photo Of Twins On Their 17th Birthday

She posted a photo of herself with her twins, daughter Hazel Patricia Moder and son Phinnaeus Walter Moder, taken shortly after their birth in 2004.

Julia Roberts paid a heartwarming tribute to her twins on their 17th birthday this weekend. Though she is known to be exceptionally private with her personal life, this Sunday the legendary actress shared a super-rare throwback picture of herself with her twins, Hazel Patricia Moder and Phinnaeus Walter Moder. Posting this adorable memory on Instagram, the 54-year-old wrote: "17 of the Sweetest years of life ✨ πŸ‘«β™₯️πŸ₯³. πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚."

Julia's husband, cinematographer Daniel Moder also posted a more recent snap of the twins on Instagram with the caption: "These rabble-rousers... 17 today. Thank you for helping me through fatherhood." According to USA Today, Roberts and Moderβ€”who marked their 19th wedding anniversary earlier this yearβ€”met on the set of her film The Mexican in 2000. The Pretty Woman star previously raved about her marriage to Moder in a 2017 interview where she said: "I mean every day my husband walks in the door it's like a recurring dream. I'm like, 'Ah, he's back!'"

Roberts, who was named People's "World's Most Beautiful Woman" for a record fifth time in 2017, said at the time that her kids keep her laughing. "They all have a very keen sense of humor," she said. "They all have a sort of different style of humor, but I do think they are all pretty funny, and I really hope they get that from me because that's what I tell everybody." The following year, the Runaway Bride star spoke to Oprah Winfrey in a profile for Harper's Bazaar about how much her children know about the Hollywood side of her life.

When asked about when did her kids finally first realize that she was "Julia Roberts, America's beloved-sweetheart actress, Academy Award winner," she said: "I don't think they will ever have a true sense of that. I think I told you once when they were starting to figure it out, it was like, 'You're famous?' And I said, 'I think a lot of people might have seen the movie that I'm in or might know who I am.' Maybe an hour goes by. 'Are you more famous than Taylor Swift?'" Roberts also reflected on how being a teenager today is a much different experience than what it was in her time.

"It's different than when I might have said to my mom, 'Mom, you don't know what it's like to be a teenager today,' even though she probably did. Danny and I really don't know what it's like to be a teenager today. Sometimes my kids ask me things and I just say to them, 'I'm going to say no, and I'm going to look into it because I don't even know what we're talking about,'" she said. Sharing some advice for young working mothers, Roberts acknowledged that it's a great help to have "a partner who's willing to help you."

"Yes, which is number one. I guess it's also that illusion of mastery because I can have a great Monday and a really crappy Tuesday. It's not a static thing: 'Oh, I've got this. I've mastered this mothering thing.' That doesn't exist, and so everybody needs to make sure that they understand that going into it," Roberts said. "I think, as women, we fall into this place where we feel like it's our responsibility to give everything, give and give and give. There's nothing wrong with saying to your spouse or to your child or to your friend, 'Can I get a hand? I need somebody else in here helping me do this because I can't do it by myself. Or I don't want to do it by myself!'"
