The multi-faceted star once again proved her ability to pull off just about any look as she rocked a Valentino ball gown featuring an oversized green and gold bow.
If there's one thing the internet agrees on, it's how Jennifer Lopez is giving every woman on earth a real run for their money with her drop-dead gorgeous looks. At 50, the multi-faceted star is one of the most beautiful women alive today—if not ever. Whereas most of us would require a hoard of stylists, make-up artists, and a fairy godmother to look half as pretty as JLo, she could walk on to a red carpet wearing a GINORMOUS, very-Christmassy, kinda ugly bow and still steal the show. In fact, this is exactly what she did at the 77th annual Golden Globes and we couldn't help but scream, "Yaaaas, Queen!"
According to Harpers Bazaar, JLo walked onto the Golden Globes red carpet in a shoulder-less Valentino ball gown that featured an oversized green-and-gold bow. The singer-slash-actress—who was nominated for her work in Hustlers—accessorized the outfit with a parure made of emeralds and diamonds by Harry Winston. Her stylist Rob Zangardi completed her look by tying her hair into a braided top bun, giving off an unmissable Christmasy vibe to the celeb's ensemble—something social media users were quick to point out and use as meme fodder.
While some Twitter users wondered whether the star's stylist is yet to get over the holiday fever, kinder fans pointed out how the dress was actually quite on-brand for Lopez—a gift that keeps on giving. Within minutes of the celeb stepping on to the red carpet with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, the memes started pouring in on Twitter and as much as I love JLo and would defend every one of her fashion choices with my dying breath, I've got to admit, some of these are quite funny.

Meanwhile, some keen-eyed social media users were reminded of another celebrity who has rocked a giant golden bow—Ryan Reynolds.
Twitter's meme fest about JLo's dress lost it's steam after a while as the star failed to bag the Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe for her performance in Hustlers. While she may have been disappointed by the results, her fiancé Rodriguez stepped up to share a sweet note of appreciation for Lopez on Instagram soon after. Sharing a photo of his fiancée on the red carpet at the ceremony, the retired baseball player wrote, "Jen, it doesn’t take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion. To millions of young women who have watched you and have been inspired and empowered to do amazing things in their lives, you are a champion."
"For countless musicians, dancers, actresses, and performers who have seen and emulate your passion, drive and work ethic to find their own success, you are a champion. To your children, your family, your coaches, your staff, and your extended family, you are a champion. To everyone whose lives you enrich daily, you are a champion. And don’t you ever forget it. ❤️❤️❤️," he added. How sweet is that?
