The 53-year-old actor didn't realize there's so much support for him and he is so loved by his fans.
Brendan Fraser is receiving tons of support from his fans over the past couple of years and the actor is truly feeling the love. Sure, the actor doesn't enjoy the same fame like how he used to in his younger days - when he starred in movies like George of the Jungle or The Mummy. But before tabloids and trolls can drop in their mean comments, his fans are offering tons of love and support. Last year, the actor hosted a virtual meet-and-greet where he spoke to fan Lindley Key who informed him the entire internet was behind him. Key has shared cosplay videos as The Mummy character Evelyn O'Connell (played by Rachel Weisz) on her TikTok account LittleLottieCosplay, according to PEOPLE.

In their exchange, speaking of working in Martin Scorsese's movie Killers of the Flower Moon, Fraser told her, "I'm going to work with Scorsese and Leo and Bob DeNiro." Lindley who had dressed up as Evie from The Mummy at the time called the news 'so exciting'. The actor replied, "Thank you, I think I might be sick! A little anxious. I mean, it's going to be fun, but I'm like [pretends to chew fingernails]. The internet is so behind you! We're so supportive," she said during the virtual meeting while adding, "There are so many people out there who love you, and we're rooting for you, and we can't wait to see what you do next." "Shucks, ma'am" an emotional Fraser replied as he tipped his cowboy hat off to Key.

According to LADBible, more recently the star was talking at FANEXPO Boston last month and the footage from their YouTube channel showed Fraser addressing the viral post from last year. A fan asked, "do you ever get like 'this is kind of weird' or like you know people are kind of taking it too far or do you just take it, you know?" Brendan replied, "I'll answer your question. Just recently - and I'm not real big on social media, forgive me for that I'm a luddite apart from the Zelda thing - I did a like a meet and greet at a con and it went on to TikTok and I had a nice little chat with this lovely woman called Lindley, I learned her name. "It was big I'm told." "You were kind of choking up," the fan said. Brendan replied, "Yeah I backed into that, I was like I don't know I felt like, she was so sincere. I appreciate it and it let me know that I guess I just wasn't aware that there's that much support. I appreciate it very very much." Lindley even came back to TikTok, reacting to his Fraser's kind words, captioning the video: This interview is resurfacing, and I’m filled with so many emotions rewatching this. She told Bored Panda that getting to talk to the actor “has become a true core memory” of hers and she urges other fans to support each new endeavor of the actor's so that his comeback can be a success.
