Caitlyn Jenner Breaks Down After Entire Family Snubs Her As She's Eliminated From 'I'm A Celebrity'

The 70-year-old reality TV star was voted out of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' after three weeks on Friday.

After three weeks of providing viewers with binge-worthy entertainment, Caitlyn Jenner and Nadine Coyle became the seventh and eighth contestants, respectively, to be eliminated from the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity. The duo fell short of making it to the semi-final after their elimination on Friday, December 6. However, what was more heartbreaking to watch was Caitlyn Jenner's reaction after she got the boot. While it is customary for friends and family of the eliminated contestants to meet them as they cross the bridge, Caitlyn Jenner had no one waiting for her. Unfortunately, she became the first person voted out not to have a loved one waiting for them at the end of the bridge, reports Aol.

The former Olympian and all-American hero was part of a brutal double elimination alongside former Girls Aloud member Nadine Coyle. While the singer was received by her sister Charmaine, Caitlyn Jenner had to walk the bridge that leads out of the camp to find no one on the other side. Not one member from her illustrious family, neither her superstar daughters nor her grandchildren had made the effort to be there to greet her. After the news of their elimination was announced by hosts Ant and Dec, Caitlyn Jenner declared that she "missed her family terribly" over the last three weeks, only to receive the rude shock.

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time that Caitlyn Jenner was snubbed by her family on the show. On one of the episodes where the other campmates received letters from loved ones, Caitlyn Jenner was the only one to get an impersonal note, presumably from her partner Sophia Hutchins. The message mostly talked about their dogs. The note read, "You are doing such an amazing job in the jungle. Show these Brits that American Olympian endurance. The dogs and I miss you so much, we decorated the house but Baxter tore the lights off the trees already so it's waiting for you to fix it." Much to the shock of Caitlyn Jenner herself and the audiences, there was nothing from star daughters Kendall or Kylie Jenner, or step-daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.

Despite these setbacks, Caitlyn Jenner handled the situations she found herself in gracefully. While talking to show hosts And and Dec after being kicked out, she said, "It was tough. I came here to test myself, obviously, I did this show 16 years ago, turned 70 and thought what a challenge. I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Over the last three weeks, I've met some of the greatest people. There wasn't one person who was causing any trouble."

However, not everything was gloomy for Caitlyn after her elimination. The 70-year-old took to Instagram and told her fans and followers, "Just got out of the jungle and actually getting hair and makeup done. And boy, do I need it! I haven't had it in weeks. But when I came out of the jungle - got a lot of friends there - but I had a big surprise when I got to the hotel. Sophia's here, yaaaaaaay." She later pans the camera towards her 23-year-old partner Sophia who threw her a surprise by receiving her at her hotel.

Caitlyn Jenner was part of quite a few firsts on the show, and not all of them were heartbreaking like her exit. She became the first celebrity in the history of the show to go completely naked in the shower, as she stripped down to nothing following a filthy and rather disgusting segment that had the former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star get covered in rotting meat, fish guts, and other disgusting rubbish. Contestants Kate Garraway and Nadine Coyle held up a makeshift shower curtain to protect her modesty, reports the Daily Mail.

On the other hand, as the show came to a close, Caitlyn Jenner had reason to celebrate as her "sweet friend" Jacqueline Jossa was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity on Sunday night. Jacqueline was named Queen of the Jungle following a high octane finale where she beat the likes of Coronation Street’s Andy Whyment and Roman Kemp, reported Metro. Expressing her love and support for the former EastEnders actress, Caitlyn Jenner shared a selfie with the winner. She also wrote, "Congratulations to my sweet friend @jacjossa witnessing your growth in this show was amazing! Congrats Jungle Jack!’ We bet Jacqueline will be made up by the heartwarming post."
