The couple spends around $9,707 for each pregnancy. Now with 22 kids, they have already paid nearly £138,000 ($191,292) for their huge family.
A 24-year-old woman, who already has 22 children wants more kids. Christina Öztürk, who was just 17 when she gave birth to her first child, told Daily Mail that she and her millionaire husband Galip Öztürk have had discussions about having more than 100 kids. "I don't know how many there will eventually be, but we certainly don't plan to stop..." she noted. Christina, who is originally from Russia, arrived at the coast of Batumi, Georgia to take a break from her mundane routine. At the time, she was single and pregnant with her first. This is when she happened to meet property and transport magnate, Galip, who she describes as her "mentor, guide and fairytale prince all rolled into one."
For Christina, it was love at first sight. As for her husband, who is originally from Turkey, "She is so easy to be with, she always has a smile on her lips and yet at the same time is shy and mysterious. She was the kind of wife I always wanted for myself, an uncut diamond where I saw what a pure and kind heart she had." The two soon fell in love and Christina moved to Batumi along with her daughter, Vika, to be with her 56-year-old lover. Although Galip was quite older than his partner and already had adult children of his old, he didn't mind having a huge family. Initially, the two decided to have a baby every year but realized that the 24-year-old's reproductive abilities would not meet the demand. Thus, they decided to hire surrogate mothers to carry their children.
According to Times Now News, they spent around $9,707 for each pregnancy. Now with 22 kids, they have already paid nearly £138,000 ($191,292) for their huge family. Speaking to The Sun, the mother of 22 shared that they spend around £3,500 ($4,851) to £4,200 ($5,821) every week on essentials for the kids and added, "sometimes a little more, sometimes a bit less." They easily go through 20 large packages of nappies and 53 packs of baby formula every week. It is impossible for her to keep an eye on all of her children at the same time and so they have hired 16 in-house nannies, who are paid £350 ($485) every week, to help them care for the massive family.
While the expense is sure to put off most people, it's a dream come true for this mother. "I've dreamed about this since childhood. My husband also dreamed about having a big, happy family. So after we met, we started to put our dream into action," she explained. Christina loves spending time with her kids and says she spends most of her day doing things for her little ones. "I’m with the kids all the time, doing all the things that mums normally do. The only difference is the amount of kids. Each day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family. I can tell you one thing - my days are never boring," she noted. Her kids have a strict sleep schedule where they have to be in bed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., meanwhile, Christina sleeps until 7 a.m. and says she doesn't get as much sleep as she'd like to but "that’s my choice to be a mum for my sweeties. I will sleep a lot in another life."
Although the couple has been expanding their family quickly via surrogacy, the young mom says she is not ruling out having more kids naturally. "I'm planning my pregnancy, but not straight away because for now, I need to be close with my babies. It’s hard to be a mum to 22 kids when you're pregnant. We are not planning more surrogate babies in the near future," she revealed. Christina admitted that the "romantic relationship" with her husband "has changed" but then again " our whole lives have changed, not just the romantic part." Both love all their kids equally. "I'm not sure if we will be the biggest family in the world, but we are planning to be the happiest family in the world for sure," she said.
